Waldo De Los Rios

Osvaldo Nicolás Ferraro Gutiérrez (1934 –1977), known as Waldo de los Ríos, was an Argentine composer, conductor, and arranger. Born in Buenos Aires into a musical family, he achieved fame for his pop arrangements of classical music, notably Mozart, with hits like "Symphony No. 40" and "Ode to Joy." Despite success, he battled depression and tragically died by suicide in 1977. ... more
